Story Time at Monkeyhouse Toys

Amidst all the holiday preparations, I almost forgot to share this super fun event!

Monkeyhouse Toys in Silver Lake (Los Angles) presents "Story Time," a group show where each artist was invited to dig deep into their childhood and create a character we all would have loved to watch on TV, read in a book, or dream up. There will be giveaway items, and the event is family-friendly so swing on by. The illustration above is a two parter so you'll just have to visit the gallery to see its companion piece.

Opening reception: Saturday Oct. 19, 5pm-8pm

I'm taking over the art corner at Leanna Lin's again! Expect to see these and other new originals of the clinking duo. Fat Rabbit Farm and I paired up again for more adorable collaborative pieces, and to debut a very special limited edition item. Unicorn Crafts and I also collaborated on something special so it'll be an evening of delightful surprises. 

Thomas & Andrea's Wedding

Congratulations to Thomas & Andrea Traum!  It was so wonderful collaborating with them on EIGHT illustrations. Thank goodness my backpacking trip didn't dissuade them from working with me. I love how it all turned out, and I'm so grateful to have played a small role in their big day.
