Modes of Transportation!

I love traveling for those short glimpses into everyday life.
Buses, trains, autos, rickshaws... I'll take 'em all!
sitting in the train station:
Taj Mahal... yeah I guess it's nice
Just kidding!
Don't go on Fridays! They're closed, which is a fact Sandeep and I failed to check when we arrived. Oops. Either way, I got my look at the palace the next morning, but found the tourist to be so much more interesting!!

I got henna on my hands for the wedding. It took a really long time (for both application AND waiting for it to dry), but it was worth the experience.
my own version of it, while in transit from Ludhiana to Agra:
Sandeep has the photos from the wedding so I'll add later.

Hello from the PI!

So I'm the Philippines! I'd have photos to post, or at least a better way of digitzing my drawings if I had a camera that didn't fall into Lake Washington. So photobooth will have to do :)
The sketch is of an actual scene I saw on the street in metro Manila. Little guy looked so scared squished between his parents haha.

Do you want to know a secret?
ooh wahh oooooh
Do you promise not to tell?
woahh oooh oooh
Closer
ooh wahh oooooh
Let me whisper in your ear
Okay, too close!!
Oh silly times.
This is a custom order for Ms. Shannon Leith, the lovely photography guru based in Pasadena. She stumbled upon my creations in Majestical Roof & contacted me to make her very own. Her photos are lovely, & her engagement photo sessions are particularly delightfully fun.
The cardinal & branch took a good amount of time to make, not because the cardinal was difficult to sew, but because it rained so much during the summer! Finding a sunny day to go branch hunting in the park was almost impossible. Shout out to David for helping me on the hunt.
