I got henna on my hands for the wedding. It took a really long time (for both application AND waiting for it to dry), but it was worth the experience.

This is beautiful! If you do get photos from the day of the wedding itself, I would love to see how nicely the henna darkened up for you!
By the way, did they call it henna or mehndi where you were in India? I'm just curious :)
